KPN connects people. We’ve been doing this for over 140 years through our products and services as well as by supporting socially responsible activities. There is nothing better than social contact, from person to person. That’s why we are focusing on, among other things, initiatives in sports, art and culture that connect Dutch people.

KPN connects people. Because sport has a connecting force, it is not surprising that we have been one of the largest sports sponsors in the Netherlands for years. We support Dutch football and with our TEAMKPN Sports Fund we give less known sports a little boost.

Art & Culture

Few sectors have a greater binding force than the art and culture sector. That is why we support national museums and other cultural institutions that we are proud of in our country. In this way, as main sponsor of the Rijksmuseum, we help making their art treasures (digitally) accessible for the Netherlands. As an ICT partner, we are affiliated with the Royal Concertgebouw and the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, which will also house and showcase the masterpieces from the KPN art collection from 2021.

Social contact

Our belief in technology is great, but we believe even more in human contact. Extra attention is paid to groups where social contact is not self-evident. For example, the KPN Mooiste Contact Fonds has been organizing events for more than 15 years where people who feel lonely are reconnected with the world around them. With KlasseContact we ensure that children with long-term illness remain in contact with their class and can thus participate.

Responsible and safe online

Our daily lives are becoming increasingly digital. This offers many advantages and possibilities, but also entails dangers. Every day we are committed to a safe and reliable network. We are also involved in public campaigns that make people aware of possible online risks such as 'First check, then click' and 'Alert Online' and support, for example, De Kindertelefoon.
