KPN makes it simpler to watch Amazon Prime Video by integrating it in the TV menu

Customers who have or who purchase a subscription to Amazon Prime Video get direct access to Prime Video via the TV menu by entering their account details. From today, KPN will make the service available step by step, including to Telfort and XS4ALL TV customers. In December, KPN will make the Prime Video app available to all existing iTV customers (with DTV receiver models 2260 and 2952). The Prime Video service can also be used in 2020 via the new DTV receiver that KPN launched in October 2019.

“The user experience of our customers is paramount: they want easy access to the entertainment and content they enjoy. We are facilitating this by adding the Amazon Prime Video application to KPN’s interactive TV menu,” says Stijn Nuijten, responsible for marketing and products at KPN.

How does it work?
To watch Prime Video via KPN, customers need KPN’s Interactive TV, the right DTV receiver (2260 and 2952) and Amazon Prime membership. Customers can register on kpn.com/televisie/amazon. They can then log in on the Prime Video app via the DTV receiver. This is possible in three ways: via channel 203, On Demand or Apps op TV.
