Response to CBb ruling on access regulation

We have taken note of the announcement from the CBb in the appeal process regarding other telecom providers’ access to the fixed networks of KPN and VodafoneZiggo, which states that access to the KPN network will no longer be regulated. KPN is pleased with this statement.

There is strong and healthy competition in the Dutch telecom sector thanks to open network access. KPN has had open network access since 2000. This access is guaranteed in the long term by ongoing access agreements with many telecom providers. The consumer has a great deal of choice. The CBb’s decision does not change this.
