Via iBasis, measured in call minutes, KPN is a leading player in international telephone traffic on the wholesale market. iBasis offers a comprehensive portfolio of telephone traffic and data services for many large telecom companies for fixed and mobile, as well as Voice over Broadband.

Recently, we’ve achieved a number of results to be proud of. The main highlights.

  • KPN is recognized as the most sustainable telecom company worldwide in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

  • Customers saved more than 146,000 tons CO2 emissions and EUR 60 million using our services in 2016.

  • Our total energy consumption reduced with more than 20% since 2010 despite strong growth in data communications volumes.

  • KPN is included in the top 10 of ‘European Corporate Startup Stars’: an award that honors the collaboration between KPN and start-ups.

  • Trade journal ‘Computable’ named KPN ICT infrastructure supplier of the year.

  • For the sixth year, KPN was named sponsor of the year at the presentation of the SponsorRingen awards.
